Al-Qasas · 28:59
وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ مُهْلِكَ الْقُرَىٰ حَتَّىٰ يَبْعَثَ فِي أُمِّهَا رَسُولًا يَتْلُو عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتِنَا ۚ وَمَا كُنَّا مُهْلِكِي الْقُرَىٰ إِلَّا وَأَهْلُهَا ظَالِمُونَ
Olúwa rẹ kò sì níí pa àwọn ìlú run (ní àsìkò tìrẹ yìí) títí Ó fi máa gbé Òjíṣẹ́ kan dìde nínú Olú-ìlú-ayé (ìyẹn, ìlú Mọkkah, ẹni tí) yóò máa ké àwọn āyah Wa fún wọn. (Ó sì ti ṣe bẹ́ẹ̀.) A ò sì níí pa àwọn ìlú (yìí) run sẹ́ àfi kí àwọn ara ibẹ̀ jẹ́ alábòsí.
Tafsír
Kò sí tafsír ní èdè rẹ. Èyí ni Al-Mukhtasar ní èdè Gẹ̀ẹ́sì.
59. O Messenger, your Lord did not destroy the cities until he had given opportunity to their inhabitants by sending Messengers to their main cities, just as He sent you to the Mother of Cities. And I was not one to destroy the people of the cities when they were firm on the truth. I only destroy them when they are unjust through disbelief and committing sins.
Ṣí nínú olùkà - Ka surah náà ní kíkún
