Al-Qasas · 28:58
وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ بَطِرَتْ مَعِيشَتَهَا ۖ فَتِلْكَ مَسَاكِنُهُمْ لَمْ تُسْكَنْ مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا ۖ وَكُنَّا نَحْنُ الْوَارِثِينَ
Mélòó mélòó nínú ìlú tí A parẹ́, tí wọ́n yọ àyọ̀pọ̀rọ́ ayé-jíjẹ nínú ìlú. Ìwọ̀nyẹn ni àwọn ibùgbé wọn, tí A kò jẹ́ kí ẹnì kan kan gbé ibẹ̀ lẹ́yìn wọn bí kò ṣe fún ìgbà díẹ̀. Àwa sì jẹ́ Olùjogún.
Tafsír
Kò sí tafsír ní èdè rẹ. Èyí ni Al-Mukhtasar ní èdè Gẹ̀ẹ́sì.
58. And how many a city were there which were ungrateful for Allah’s blessings on them, then they exceeded the bounds in sins and disobedience, so I sent a punishment to them and destroyed them through it. So these are their dwellings in ruins, with people passing by them. They were not inhabited after those who lived in them, except for a few travellers. And it is I who will inherit the heavens, the earth and everyone in them.
