سورة سبأ · 34:21
وَمَا كَانَ لَهُ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْ سُلْطَانٍ إِلَّا لِنَعْلَمَ مَنْ يُؤْمِنُ بِالْآخِرَةِ مِمَّنْ هُوَ مِنْهَا فِي شَكٍّ ۗ وَرَبُّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَفِيظٌ
(21) And he had over them no authority except [it was decreed] that We might make evident who believes in the Hereafter from who is thereof in doubt. And your Lord, over all things, is Guardian.[1230]

وما كان لإبليس عليهم من سلطان يقهرهم به على أن يضلوا، وإنما كان يزين لهم ويغويهم، إلا أنا أذِنّا له في إغوائهم ليظهر أمر من يؤمن بالآخرة وما فيها من جزاء، ممن هو منها في شك، وربك - أيها الرسول - على كل شيء حفيظ، يحفظ أعمال عباده، ويجازيهم عليها.
