قَالَتْ فَذَٰلِكُنَّ الَّذِي لُمْتُنَّنِي فِيهِ ۖ وَلَقَدْ رَاوَدْتُهُ عَنْ نَفْسِهِ فَاسْتَعْصَمَ ۖ وَلَئِنْ لَمْ يَفْعَلْ مَا آمُرُهُ لَيُسْجَنَنَّ وَلَيَكُونًا مِنَ الصَّاغِرِينَ
૩૨) તે સમયે અઝીઝે મિસ્રની પત્નીએ કહ્યું, આ જ છે જેના વિશે તમે મને ટોણાં મારતા હતા, મેં આનાથી પોતાનો મતલબ પ્રાપ્ત કરવા ઇચ્છયું, પરંતુ આ બચીને જ રહ્યો અને જે કંઈ હું આને કહું છું જો આ નહીં કરે તો ખરેખર આ કેદી બનાવી લેવામાં આવશે. અને તે અપમાનિત થશે.
તફસીર

32. The wife of the minister said to those women when she saw what happened to them, ‘This is the slave who you blamed me for loving. I desired him and tried to entice him, but he remained pure and refused. If he does not, in the future, do what I desire, he will go to prison and will become one of those who are disgraced’.
