Al-An'am · 6:20
الَّذِينَ آتَيْنَاهُمُ الْكِتَابَ يَعْرِفُونَهُ كَمَا يَعْرِفُونَ أَبْنَاءَهُمُ ۘ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
Àwọn tí A fún ní Tírà, wọ́n mọ̀ ọ́n gẹ́gẹ́ bí wọ́n ṣe mọ àwọn ọmọ wọn. Àwọn t’ó ṣe ẹ̀mí wọn lófò (sínú àìgbàgbọ́), wọn kò sí níí gbàgbọ́.

Gbólóhùn yìí “Àwọn tí A fún ní Tírà, wọ́n mọ̀ ọ́n” ń túmọ̀ sí pé, àwọn t’ó nímọ̀ nípa Taorāt àti ’Injīl mọ̀ pé nínú tírà méjèèjì, ọ̀kan ṣoṣo ni Ọlọ́hun Ẹlẹ́dàá àti pé Òjíṣẹ́ tí wọ́n ń retí ni Ànábì Muhammad (sollalāhu 'alayhi wa sallam), àmọ́ wọ́n daṣọ bo òtítọ́ mọ́lẹ̀. Ìdí nìyí tí āyah 21 fi pè wọ́n ní alábòsí.

Tafsír
Kò sí tafsír ní èdè rẹ. Èyí ni Al-Mukhtasar ní èdè Gẹ̀ẹ́sì.
20. The Jews who were given the Torah and the Christians who were given the Gospel recognise the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) completely, just as they recognise their own children from other children. They are the ones who have lost their own souls by making them enter the fire of Hell, and they will not believe.
