Al-Ma'idah · 5:63
لَوْلَا يَنْهَاهُمُ الرَّبَّانِيُّونَ وَالْأَحْبَارُ عَنْ قَوْلِهِمُ الْإِثْمَ وَأَكْلِهِمُ السُّحْتَ ۚ لَبِئْسَ مَا كَانُوا يَصْنَعُونَ
Kí ni kò jẹ́ kí àwọn àlùfáà àti àwọn amòfin máa kọ̀ fún wọn nípa ọ̀rọ̀ ẹnu wọn (tí ó jẹ́) ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ àti jíjẹ tí wọ́n ń jẹ owó èrú! Dájúdájú ohun tí wọ́n ń ṣe níṣẹ́ burú.
Tafsír
Kò sí tafsír ní èdè rẹ. Èyí ni Al-Mukhtasar ní èdè Gẹ̀ẹ́sì.
63. Why do their leaders and scholars not prohibit them from the lying, false testimony and wrongful consumption of the wealth of people that they rush towards? This action of their leaders and scholars, who do not prohibit them from evil, is wrong.
