وَأَمَّا ثَمُودُ فَهَدَيْنَاهُمْ فَاسْتَحَبُّوا الْعَمَىٰ عَلَى الْهُدَىٰ فَأَخَذَتْهُمْ صَاعِقَةُ الْعَذَابِ الْهُونِ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ
Ní ti ìjọ Thamūd, A ṣàlàyé ìmọ̀nà fún wọn, ṣùgbọ́n wọ́n nífẹ̀ẹ́ sí àìríran dípò ìmọ̀nà. Nítorí náà, igbe ìyà tí í yẹpẹrẹ ẹ̀dá gbá wọn mú nítorí ohun tí wọ́n ń ṣe níṣẹ́.

Tafsír
Kò sí tafsír ní èdè rẹ. Èyí ni Al-Mukhtasar ní èdè Gẹ̀ẹ́sì.
17. As for the people of Saleh, the Thamūd, I guided them by making the path of truth clear to them, but they preferred deviance to guidance to the truth, so the humiliating punishment seized them because of the disbelief and sins they would commit.
