إِنَّ هَٰذَا أَخِي لَهُ تِسْعٌ وَتِسْعُونَ نَعْجَةً وَلِيَ نَعْجَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ فَقَالَ أَكْفِلْنِيهَا وَعَزَّنِي فِي الْخِطَابِ
Dájúdájú èyí ni arákùnrin mi. Ó ní abo ewúrẹ́ mọ́kàndín-lọ́gọ́rùn-ún. Èmi sì ní abo ewúrẹ́ ẹyọ kan. Ó sì sọ pé: "Fà á lé mi lọ́wọ́. Ó sì borí mi nínú ọ̀rọ̀."
Tafsír
Kò sí tafsír ní èdè rẹ. Èyí ni Al-Mukhtasar ní èdè Gẹ̀ẹ́sì.
23. One of the disputants said to David (peace be upon him): “This man is my brother. He has ninety-nine ewes and I have one ewe. He asked me to give him that too and he has overpowered me in proof”.
