Ya-Sin · 36:33
وَآيَةٌ لَهُمُ الْأَرْضُ الْمَيْتَةُ أَحْيَيْنَاهَا وَأَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهَا حَبًّا فَمِنْهُ يَأْكُلُونَ
Àmì ni òkú ilẹ̀ jẹ́ fún wọn. A sọ ọ́ di àyè. A sì mú èso jáde láti inú rẹ̀. Wọ́n sì ń jẹ nínú rẹ̀.

Kíyè sí i! Nínú ìlò èdè Yorùbá, kò sí “òkú ilẹ̀” tàbí pé “ilẹ̀ kú”. Dípò bẹ́ẹ̀, Yorùbá máa sọ pé, “Kàkà kí ilẹ̀ kú, ilẹ̀ yó yà sá ni.” Àmọ́ ìlò èdè Lárúbáwá kò tako pípe ilẹ̀ ní “òkú ilẹ̀”.

Kò sí tafsír ní èdè rẹ. Èyí ni Al-Mukhtasar ní èdè Gẹ̀ẹ́sì.
33. A sign for those who deny the resurrection that the resurrection is true is this dry and barren land, on which I sent down rain from the sky and I grew therein various types of plants and produced various kinds of grains for people to eat. The One Who gave life to this earth by sending down the rain and bringing out the plants, is able to give life to and resurrect the dead.
