قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ شُرَكَاءَكُمُ الَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ أَرُونِي مَاذَا خَلَقُوا مِنَ الْأَرْضِ أَمْ لَهُمْ شِرْكٌ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ أَمْ آتَيْنَاهُمْ كِتَابًا فَهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَتٍ مِنْهُ ۚ بَلْ إِنْ يَعِدُ الظَّالِمُونَ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا إِلَّا غُرُورًا
Sọ pé: “Ẹ sọ fún mi nípa àwọn òrìṣà yín tí ẹ̀ ń pè lẹ́yìn Allāhu, ẹ fi ohun tí wọ́n dá hàn mí lórí ilẹ̀? Tàbí wọ́n ní ìpín kan (pẹ̀lú Allāhu) níbi (ìṣẹ̀dá) àwọn sánmọ̀? Tàbí A fún wọn ní tírà kan, tí wọ́n ní ẹ̀rí t’ó yanjú nínú rẹ̀? Rárá o! Kò sí àdéhùn kan tí àwọn alábòsí, apá kan wọn ń ṣe fún apá kan bí kò ṣe ẹ̀tàn.”
Tafsír
Kò sí tafsír ní èdè rẹ. Èyí ni Al-Mukhtasar ní èdè Gẹ̀ẹ́sì.
40. Say - O Messenger, to these idolaters: Tell me about those partners of yours that you worship instead of Allah, what have they created on earth. Did they create its mountains? Did they create its rivers? Did they create its animals? Or do they have any share with Allah in the creation of the heavens? Or have I given them a book in which there is proof of the validity of their worshipping their idols? Nothing of that is true. In fact, those who wrong themselves by disbelief and sins promise one another nothing but delusion.
