وَلِسُلَيْمَانَ الرِّيحَ غُدُوُّهَا شَهْرٌ وَرَوَاحُهَا شَهْرٌ ۖ وَأَسَلْنَا لَهُ عَيْنَ الْقِطْرِ ۖ وَمِنَ الْجِنِّ مَنْ يَعْمَلُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِ ۖ وَمَنْ يَزِغْ مِنْهُمْ عَنْ أَمْرِنَا نُذِقْهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ السَّعِيرِ

Àti pé (A tẹ) atẹ́gùn lórí bá fún (Ànábì) Sulaemọ̄n, ìrìn oṣù kan ni ìrìn òwúrọ̀ rẹ̀, ìrìn oṣù kan sì ni ìrìn ìrọ̀lẹ́ rẹ̀. A sì mú kí odò idẹ máa ṣàn nínú ilẹ̀ fún un. Ó sì wà nínú àwọn àlùjànnú, èyí t’ó ń ṣiṣẹ́ (fún un) níwájú rẹ̀ pẹ̀lú ìyọ̀ǹda Olúwa rẹ̀. Àti pé ẹni tí ó bá gbúnrí kúrò níbi àṣẹ Wa nínú wọn, A máa fún un ní ìyà iná t’ó ń jò fòfò tọ́ wò.

Èyí já sí pé Ànábì Sulaemọ̄n ('alaehi-ssọlātu wa-ssalām) lè rin ìrìn oṣù méjì ní ojúmọ́.

Tafsír

Kò sí tafsír ní èdè rẹ. Èyí ni Al-Mukhtasar ní èdè Gẹ̀ẹ́sì.

12. And I made the wind serviceable to Solomon, son of David. It would blow the distance of a month in a morning, and the same distance in an evening. I also made springs of copper flow for him so that he could make whatever he wanted from it, together with employing the Jinn who would work in front of him by the command of his Lord. Whichever of the Jinn would deviate from whatever I commanded it to do, I would make it taste the punishment of a flaring fire.
