Al-Ahzab · 33:20
يَحْسَبُونَ الْأَحْزَابَ لَمْ يَذْهَبُوا ۖ وَإِنْ يَأْتِ الْأَحْزَابُ يَوَدُّوا لَوْ أَنَّهُمْ بَادُونَ فِي الْأَعْرَابِ يَسْأَلُونَ عَنْ أَنْبَائِكُمْ ۖ وَلَوْ كَانُوا فِيكُمْ مَا قَاتَلُوا إِلَّا قَلِيلًا
Wọ́n ń lérò pé àwọn ọmọ ogun oníjọ kò tí ì lọ, (wọ́n sì ti túká). Tí àwọn ọmọ ogun oníjọ bá (sì padà) dé, dájúdájú (àwọn ṣọ̀bẹ-ṣèlu mùsùlùmí) yóò fẹ́ kí àwọn ti wà ní oko láààrin àwọn Lárúbáwá oko, kí wọ́n máa bèèrè nípa àwọn ìró yín (pé ṣé ẹ ti kú tán tàbí ẹ sì wà láyé). Tí ó bá sì jẹ́ pé wọ́n wà láààrin yín, wọn kò níí jagun bí kò ṣe fún ìgbà díẹ̀.
Tafsír
Kò sí tafsír ní èdè rẹ. Èyí ni Al-Mukhtasar ní èdè Gẹ̀ẹ́sì.
20. These cowards think the coalition conspiring to fight Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) and fight the believers will never leave until they totally destroy the believers. And if it is decreed that the coalition come another time, these cowardly hypocrites will wish they were not in Madina, but rather they were with the bedouins far from it, asking regarding your news: what happened to you after your enemies fought you? And even if they were amongst you, O believers, they would not have fought alongside you except a little, so do not pay attention to them or be sad over them.
