يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لِمَ تُحَاجُّونَ فِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمَا أُنْزِلَتِ التَّوْرَاةُ وَالْإِنْجِيلُ إِلَّا مِنْ بَعْدِهِ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
Ẹ̀yin ahlul-kitāb, nítorí kí ni ẹ óò fi jiyàn nípa (Ànábì) ’Ibrọ̄hīm? A kò sì sọ at-Taorāh àti al-’Injīl kalẹ̀ bí kò ṣe lẹ́yìn rẹ̀, ṣé ẹ kò ṣe làákàyè ni?
Tafsír
Kò sí tafsír ní èdè rẹ. Èyí ni Al-Mukhtasar ní èdè Gẹ̀ẹ́sì.
65. O People of the Scripture, why do you dispute about the belief of Abraham? The Jews claimed that he was a Jew and the Christians claimed he was a Christian. You know very well that Judaism and Christianity appeared a long time after him. Can you not see the falseness of your statement and the error of your claim?
