Al-'Ankabut · 29:40
فَكُلًّا أَخَذْنَا بِذَنْبِهِ ۖ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِ حَاصِبًا وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ أَخَذَتْهُ الصَّيْحَةُ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ خَسَفْنَا بِهِ الْأَرْضَ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ أَغْرَقْنَا ۚ وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيَظْلِمَهُمْ وَلَٰكِنْ كَانُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ
A sì mú ìkọ̀ọ̀kan wọn nípa ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ rẹ̀. Ó wà nínú wọn, ẹni tí A fi òkúta iná ránṣẹ́ sí. Ó wà nínú wọn ẹni tí igbe líle gbá mú. Ó wà nínú wọn ẹni tí A jẹ́ kí ilẹ̀ gbémì. Ó sì wà nínú wọn ẹni tí A tẹ̀rì sínú omi. Allāhu kò sì níí ṣàbòsí sí wọn, ṣùgbọ́n ẹ̀mí ara wọn ni wọ́n ń ṣàbòsí sí.
Tafsír
Kò sí tafsír ní èdè rẹ. Èyí ni Al-Mukhtasar ní èdè Gẹ̀ẹ́sì.
40. So I seized each one of those mentioned above with My destructive punishment. Amongst them were the people of Lot on whom I sent down stones of baked clay. Amongst them were the people of Salih and the people of Shuaib who were overcome by a sudden blast. Amongst them was Qarun whom I sunk into the earth together with his property. Amongst them were the people of Noah and Pharaoh and Haman whom I destroyed by drowning. It was not Allah who wronged them by destroying them for no sin; but they wronged themselves by committing sin and thus were deserving of the punishment.
