Al-Qasas · 28:79
فَخَرَجَ عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِ فِي زِينَتِهِ ۖ قَالَ الَّذِينَ يُرِيدُونَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا يَا لَيْتَ لَنَا مِثْلَ مَا أُوتِيَ قَارُونُ إِنَّهُ لَذُو حَظٍّ عَظِيمٍ
Ó jáde sí àwọn ènìyàn rẹ̀ pẹ̀lú ọ̀ṣọ́ rẹ̀. Àwọn t’ó ń fẹ́ ìṣẹ̀mí ayé yìí sì wí pé: “Háà! Kí á sì ní irú ohun tí wọ́n fún Ƙọ̄rūn. Dájúdájú ó ní ìpín ńlá nínú oore.”
Tafsír
Kò sí tafsír ní èdè rẹ. Èyí ni Al-Mukhtasar ní èdè Gẹ̀ẹ́sì.
79. Qarun came out in his adornment, showing off his wealth and status. Those amongst Qarun’s companions who were desirous of the adornment of the worldly life said: “If only we were given worldly adornment like Qarun has been given. Indeed he has been given a great share of everything!”.
