Al-Qasas · 28:27
قَالَ إِنِّي أُرِيدُ أَنْ أُنْكِحَكَ إِحْدَى ابْنَتَيَّ هَاتَيْنِ عَلَىٰ أَنْ تَأْجُرَنِي ثَمَانِيَ حِجَجٍ ۖ فَإِنْ أَتْمَمْتَ عَشْرًا فَمِنْ عِنْدِكَ ۖ وَمَا أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَيْكَ ۚ سَتَجِدُنِي إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
Ó sọ pé: “Dájúdájú mo fẹ́ fi ọ̀kan nínú àwọn ọmọbìnrin mi méjèèjì wọ̀nyí fún ọ ní aya lórí (àdéhùn) pé o máa bá mi ṣiṣẹ́ fún ọdún mẹ́jọ. Ṣùgbọ́n tí o bá ṣe é pé ọdún mẹ́wàá, láti ọ̀dọ̀ rẹ nìyẹn. Èmi kò sì fẹ́ kó ìnira bá ọ. Tí Allāhu bá fẹ́, o máa rí i pé mo wà nínú àwọn ẹni rere.”
Tafsír
Kò sí tafsír ní èdè rẹ. Èyí ni Al-Mukhtasar ní èdè Gẹ̀ẹ́sì.
27. Addressing Moses, their father said, “Indeed, I wish to marry you to one of these two daughters of mine, on the condition that their dowry is your shepherding our livestock for eight years. If you extend the period to ten years, it would be a favour on your part and not obligatory upon you, because the agreement is only for eight years, so whatever exceeds that is optional. I do not wish to impose upon you anything that would put you in difficulty; Allah-willing, you will find me one of the pious ones who fulfils their promises and doesnot break their agreements.”
