وَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ صَادِقَ الْوَعْدِ وَكَانَ رَسُولًا نَبِيًّا
Sọ ìtàn (Ànábì) ’Ismọ̄‘īl tí ó wà nínú al-Ƙur’ān. Dájúdájú ó jẹ́ olùmú-àdéhùn-ṣẹ, ó jẹ́ Òjíṣẹ́, (ó tún jẹ́) Ànábì.
Tafsír
Kò sí tafsír ní èdè rẹ. Èyí ni Al-Mukhtasar ní èdè Gẹ̀ẹ́sì.
54. And mention, O Messenger, in the Qur’ān revealed to you, the story of Ishmael (peace be upon him). He was true to his promise - whenever he made a promise he fulfilled it - and he was a messenger and prophet.
