Súrà 17 · Júzù 15
Al-Isra · 17:42
قُلْ لَوْ كَانَ مَعَهُ آلِهَةٌ كَمَا يَقُولُونَ إِذًا لَابْتَغَوْا إِلَىٰ ذِي الْعَرْشِ سَبِيلًا
Sọ pé: “Tí ó bá jẹ́ pé àwọn ọlọ́hun kan tún wà pẹ̀lú Rẹ̀ gẹ́gẹ́ bí wọ́n ṣe ń wí, wọn ìbá wá ọ̀nà láti súnmọ́ (Allāhu) Onítẹ̀ẹ́-ọlá ni.”

Ìyẹn ni pé, àwọn òrìṣà gan-an ń wá oore sọ́dọ̀ Allāhu (subhānahu wa ta'ālā).

Tafsír
Kò sí tafsír ní èdè rẹ. Èyí ni Al-Mukhtasar ní èdè Gẹ̀ẹ́sì.
42. Say - O Messenger, to these idolaters: If there were other deities along with Allah as they say as a fabrication and lie, then those supposed deities would have sought a way to Allah, the Owner of the Throne, to try to defeat and combat with Him over His dominion.
