۞ قَالَتْ رُسُلُهُمْ أَفِي اللَّهِ شَكٌّ فَاطِرِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ يَدْعُوكُمْ لِيَغْفِرَ لَكُمْ مِنْ ذُنُوبِكُمْ وَيُؤَخِّرَكُمْ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى ۚ قَالُوا إِنْ أَنْتُمْ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِثْلُنَا تُرِيدُونَ أَنْ تَصُدُّونَا عَمَّا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ آبَاؤُنَا فَأْتُونَا بِسُلْطَانٍ مُبِينٍ
Àwọn Òjíṣẹ́ wọn sọ pé: “Ṣé iyèméjì kan ń bẹ níbi (bíbẹ) Allāhu, Olùpilẹ̀dá àwọn sánmọ̀ àti ilẹ̀? Ó ń pè yín nítorí kí Ó lè forí àwọn ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ yín jìn yín àti nítorí kí Ó lè lọ yín lára di gbèdéke àkókò kan.” Wọ́n wí pé: “Ẹ̀yin kò jẹ́ kiní kan tayọ abara bí irú wa. Ẹ̀yin sì fẹ́ ṣẹ́ wa lórí kúrò níbi n̄ǹkan tí àwọn bàbá wa ń jọ́sìn fún. Nítorí náà, ẹ fún wa ní ẹ̀rí pọ́nńbélé.”
Tafsír
Kò sí tafsír ní èdè rẹ. Èyí ni Al-Mukhtasar ní èdè Gẹ̀ẹ́sì.
10. Their messengers said in response to them: Can there be any doubt about Allah’s Oneness and about worshipping Him alone, when He is the Creator of the heavens and the earth, who brought them into existence without any precedent?! He calls you to have faith in Him so that He can wipe out your previous sins and defer you until such time that you can complete your fixed period of life in this world. Their people said to them: You are only human like us. You have no merit over us. You want to turn us away from what our forefathers used to worship. Bring us clear proof indicating the truthfulness of your claim that you are messengers from Allah to us.
