ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَا مِنْ بَعْدِهِ رُسُلًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِمْ فَجَاءُوهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَمَا كَانُوا لِيُؤْمِنُوا بِمَا كَذَّبُوا بِهِ مِنْ قَبْلُ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَطْبَعُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِ الْمُعْتَدِينَ
Lẹ́yìn náà, A gbé àwọn Òjíṣẹ́ kan dìde sí àwọn ìjọ wọn. Wọ́n sì mú àwọn ẹ̀rí t’ó yanjú wá bá wọn. Àwọn náà kò kúkú gbàgbọ́ nínú ohun tí (ijọ́ Ànábì Nūh) pè nírọ́ ṣíwájú (wọn, ìyẹn ni pé, irú kan-ùn ni wọ́n). Báyẹn ni A ṣe ń fi èdídí bo ọkàn àwọn alákọyọ.

Tafsír
Kò sí tafsír ní èdè rẹ. Èyí ni Al-Mukhtasar ní èdè Gẹ̀ẹ́sì.
74. Then, after a period of time, We sent, after Noah, messengers to their people. The messenger came to their communities with overwhelming miracles and pure laws. But they had no intention to believe on account of their previous insistence on rejection of the messengers. Allah therefore sealed their hearts. Just as We sealed the hearts of the followers of the messengers of the past We will seal the hearts of the disbelievers who overstep Allah’s limits by committing disbelief in every time and place.
