هُوَ الَّذِي يُسَيِّرُكُمْ فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ ۖ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا كُنْتُمْ فِي الْفُلْكِ وَجَرَيْنَ بِهِمْ بِرِيحٍ طَيِّبَةٍ وَفَرِحُوا بِهَا جَاءَتْهَا رِيحٌ عَاصِفٌ وَجَاءَهُمُ الْمَوْجُ مِنْ كُلِّ مَكَانٍ وَظَنُّوا أَنَّهُمْ أُحِيطَ بِهِمْ ۙ دَعَوُا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ لَئِنْ أَنْجَيْتَنَا مِنْ هَٰذِهِ لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الشَّاكِرِينَ
(Allāhu) Òun ni Ẹni tí Ó mu yín rìn lórí ilẹ̀ àti ní ojú omi, títí di ìgbà tí ẹ bá wà nínú ọkọ̀ ojú-omi, tí atẹ́gùn t’ó dára sì ń tukọ̀ wọn lọ, inú wọn yó sì máa dùn sí i. (Àmọ́) atẹ́gùn líle kọ lù ú, ìgbì omi dé bá wọn ní gbogbo àyè, wọ́n sì lérò pé dájúdájú wọ́n ti fi (àdánwò) yí àwọn po, wọ́n sì pe Allāhu pẹ̀lú ṣíṣe àfọ̀mọ́-àdúà fún Un pé: “Dájúdájú tí O bá fi lè gbà wá là níbi èyí, dájúdájú a máa wà nínú àwọn olùdúpẹ́.”

Tafsír
Kò sí tafsír ní èdè rẹ. Èyí ni Al-Mukhtasar ní èdè Gẹ̀ẹ́sì.
22. It is Allah Who makes people travel on the land, on foot or riding, and it is He Who makes them travel in ships on the sea. They sail in them with a good wind, which the people in them are glad about. Then a gale wind comes to them, and the waves of the sea come to them from every side, until when they are certain they will be destroyed they start to call upon Allah alone, not associating anything with Him, saying: 'If You save us from this deadly situation we will be truly thankful for what You have blessed us with.'
