وَأَمَّا ثَمُودُ فَهَدَيْنَاهُمْ فَاسْتَحَبُّوا الْعَمَىٰ عَلَى الْهُدَىٰ فَأَخَذَتْهُمْ صَاعِقَةُ الْعَذَابِ الْهُونِ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ
Әмма Сәмуд кавеменә һидәятне ачык бәян иттек, алар исә иманлы булудан кәфер булуны артык күрделәр, аларны кәсеб иткән явызлыклары сәбәпле хур итүче каты ґәзаб тотты.

17. As for the people of Saleh, the Thamūd, I guided them by making the path of truth clear to them, but they preferred deviance to guidance to the truth, so the humiliating punishment seized them because of the disbelief and sins they would commit.
