Al-Anfal · 8:52
كَدَأْبِ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ ۙ وَالَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ كَفَرُوا بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ فَأَخَذَهُمُ اللَّهُ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَوِيٌّ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ
Hakika yale yaliyowapata washirikina siku hiyo ndio mwendo wa Mwenyezi Mungu katika kuwatia adabu wakiukaji mipaka miongoni mwa umma waliotangulia, mfano wa Fir'awn na waliomtangulia, walipowakanusha Mitume wa Mwenyezi Mungu na wakazipinga aya Zake. Kwa hakika Mwenyezi Mungu Aliwateremshia mateso Yake kwa sababu ya madhambi yao. Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye nguvu Asiyeshindwa, ni Mkali wa mateso kwa aliyemuasi na asitubie kutokana na dhambi zake.

52. These disbelievers were not the only ones to be punished this way; rather, it is Allah’s way of dealing with disbelievers in every time and place. The people of Pharaoh and the communities before them were also punished like this when they disbelieved in Allah’s words. Allah punished them for their sins with His might and power. Allah is Strong and cannot be overpowered or defeated. His punishment for those who go against Him is severe.
