Al-An'am · 6:143
ثَمَانِيَةَ أَزْوَاجٍ ۖ مِنَ الضَّأْنِ اثْنَيْنِ وَمِنَ الْمَعْزِ اثْنَيْنِ ۗ قُلْ آلذَّكَرَيْنِ حَرَّمَ أَمِ الْأُنْثَيَيْنِ أَمَّا اشْتَمَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ أَرْحَامُ الْأُنْثَيَيْنِ ۖ نَبِّئُونِي بِعِلْمٍ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
Wanyama hawa ambao Mwenyezi Mungu Amewaruzuku waja Wake, miongoni mwa ngamia, ng’ombe, mbuzi na kondoo, ni aina nane: nne kati ya hizo ni mbuzi na kondoo, nao ni kondoo: waume na wake, na mbuzi: wume na wake. Sema, ewe Mtume, uwaambie hao washirikina, «Kwani Mwenyezi Mungu Amewaharamisha madume wawili wa mbuzi na kondoo?» Wakisema, «Ndio», watakuwa wamesema urongo kuhusu hilo. Sababu wao hawalifanyi kila dume la kondoo na mbuzi kuwa ni haramu. Na waambie, «Kwani Mwenyezi Mungu Amewaharamisha majike wawili wa mbuzi na kondoo?» wakisema, «Ndio», watakuwa pia wamesema urongo. Sababu wao hawamuharamishi kila mwanambuzi na mwanakondoo mke. Na sema uwaambie, «Kwani Mwenyezi Mungu Amewaharamisha watoto walio matumboni mwa majike wawili wa mbuzi na kondoo walio na mimba?» Wakisema, «Ndio.» Watakuwa wamesema urongo pia. Kwani hawaiharamishi kila mimba ya namna hiyo. Nambieni kwa misingi ya elimu inayoonesha usahihi wa msimamo wenu, mkiwa ni wakweli katika hayo mnayoyanasibisha kwa Mola wenu.

143. He created for you eight types: two types of sheep, male and female, and two types of goats. Say, O Messenger, to the idolaters: Did Allah make the two males unlawful because of their being male? If they say, ‘Yes,’ then ask them: Why do you regard the females as unlawful? Or did He make the two females unlawful because of their being female? If they say, ‘Yes,’ then ask them: Why do you regard the males as unlawful? Or did He make what the wombs of the two females contain unlawful because of being contained in the womb? If they say, ‘Yes,’ then ask them: Why do you differentiate between what the wombs contain by making the male unlawful sometimes and making the female unlawful at other times? Tell me, O idolaters, what proper knowledge do you base this on, if you are truthful in your claim that the prohibition for this is from Allah?
