Sura 6 · Juzuu 8
Al-An'am · 6:136
وَجَعَلُوا لِلَّهِ مِمَّا ذَرَأَ مِنَ الْحَرْثِ وَالْأَنْعَامِ نَصِيبًا فَقَالُوا هَٰذَا لِلَّهِ بِزَعْمِهِمْ وَهَٰذَا لِشُرَكَائِنَا ۖ فَمَا كَانَ لِشُرَكَائِهِمْ فَلَا يَصِلُ إِلَى اللَّهِ ۖ وَمَا كَانَ لِلَّهِ فَهُوَ يَصِلُ إِلَىٰ شُرَكَائِهِمْ ۗ سَاءَ مَا يَحْكُمُونَ
Na wale wenye kumshirikisha Mwenyezi Mungu, Aliyetukuka na kuwa juu, waliziweka kando sehemu ya vitu Alivyoviumba miongoni mwa mazao, matunda na wanyama howa wakawapatia wageni na maskini; na wakaziweka kando sehemu nyingine za vitu hivi kwa washirika wao, miongoni mwa masanamu na mizimu. Basi zile zilizotengewa washirika wao zafikishwa kwao peke yao, na hazifiki kwa Mwenyezi Mungu; na zile zilizotengewa Mwenyezi Mungu, Aliyetukuka, zinafika kwa washirika wao. Ni mbaya ulioje uaumuzi wa hao watu na kigawanyo chao.

136. The idolaters made innovations and false claims in their religion concerning Allah by assigning to Him a share of the crops and livestock that He created, and giving a share of what He created to their idols. Yet the share they gave to their partners does not reach the avenues that Allah requires them to be spent in, such as on the poor and destitute. But what they gave to Allah reaches the idols and is spent on them. How evil is their judgement and distribution!
