Al-Hashr · 59:15
كَمَثَلِ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ قَرِيبًا ۖ ذَاقُوا وَبَالَ أَمْرِهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
Mfano wa hawa Mayahudi kwa mateso yaliyowashukia ni kama mfano wa makafiri wa Kikureshi siku ya Badr na Mayahudi wa Banū Qaynuqā'kwa kuwa walionja mwisho mbaya wa ukafiri wao na uadui wao kwa Mtume, rehema ya Mwenyezi Mungu na amani zimshukie, duniani, na huko Akhera watapata adhabu kali yenye uchungu.

15. The analogy of these Jews in their disbelief and the punishment that afflicted them, is like that of the idolaters of Makkah not so long before them. They tasted the evil consequences of their disbelief, and on the day of Badr many were killed and others taken captive. They will also face a painful punishment in the afterlife.
