Muhammad · 47:13
وَكَأَيِّنْ مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ هِيَ أَشَدُّ قُوَّةً مِنْ قَرْيَتِكَ الَّتِي أَخْرَجَتْكَ أَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ فَلَا نَاصِرَ لَهُمْ
Na wengi miongoni mwa watu wa mijini walikuwa wana nguvu zaidi kuliko watu wa mji wako, ewe Mtume, ambao ni Makkah, waliokutoa watu wake humo. Watu wa miji hiyo tuliwaangamiza kwa adhabu za aina mbalimbali. Hawakuwa na msaidizi wa kuwanusuru kutokana na adhabu ya Mwenyezi Mungu.

13. How many a town from the towns of the previous nations had more strength, wealth and children than that of Makkah, whose people evicted you from it! I destroyed them when they denied their messengers, and they had no helper to rescue them from Allah’s punishment when it came to them. Thus we are not unable to destroy the people of Makkah if I intend to do so.
