Sura 46 · Juzuu 26
Al-Ahqaf · 46:12
وَمِنْ قَبْلِهِ كِتَابُ مُوسَىٰ إِمَامًا وَرَحْمَةً ۚ وَهَٰذَا كِتَابٌ مُصَدِّقٌ لِسَانًا عَرَبِيًّا لِيُنْذِرَ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُحْسِنِينَ
Na kabla ya hii Qur’ani, tuliiteremsha Taurati ikiwa ni muongozo kwa Wana wa Isrāīl waiandame na ni rehema kwa wenye kuiamini na kuifuata kivitendo. Na hii Qur’ani inasadikisha Vitabu vilivyokuwa kabla yake. Tumeiteremsha kwa lugha ya Kiarabu ili iwaonye wale waliozidhulumu nafsi zao kwa kukanusha na kuasi. Na bishara njema ni ya wale waliomtii Mwenyezi Mungu na wakafanya wema katika Imani yao na utiifu wao duniani.

12. And before this Qur’ān is the Torah, the book which Allah revealed on Moses (peace be upon him) as a leader to be followed in the truth and as a mercy for those who believe in it and follow it amongst the Israelites. And this Qur’ān which has been revealed upon Muhammad (peace be upon him) is a book which confirms the books before it, in the Arabic language, so that he can warn through it those who wronged themselves through associating partners with Allah and by committing sins, and it is a glad tiding to the good-doers who made their relationship with their Creator and their relationship with His creation good.
