وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ اللَّهُ النَّاسَ بِمَا كَسَبُوا مَا تَرَكَ عَلَىٰ ظَهْرِهَا مِنْ دَابَّةٍ وَلَٰكِنْ يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى ۖ فَإِذَا جَاءَ أَجَلُهُمْ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِ بَصِيرًا
Na lau Mwenyezi Mungu Angaliwatesa watu kwa madhambi na maasia waliyoyatenda, Hangaliacha juu ya mgongo wa ardhi mnyama yoyote anayetembea juu yake. Lakini Anawapa muhula na Anachelewesha kuwaadhibu mpaka wakati maalumu Aliyoupanga. Na wakati wa kuwaadhibu ukija , basi Mwenyezi Mungu kwa waja Wake ni Mjuzi, hakuna yoyote kati yao atakayefichika Kwake, na hakuna chochote miongoni mwa mambo yao kilicho mbali na ujuzi Wake, na Atawalipa wao kwa walichotenda, chema au kibaya.

45. If Allah were to rush to punish people for the wrong they have done and the sins they perpetrated, He would have destroyed all the people on earth at once, together with the animals and wealth they own. But, He, (may He be glorified), gives them respite until a fixed time, which is the day of resurrection. When the day of resurrection comes, Allah is fully aware of what His servants used to do, and nothing remains hidden from Him. He will then recompense them for their actions, whether good or bad.
