Na useme kuwaambia Waumini wanawake wayainamishe macho yao kutoyaangalia yasiokuwa halali kwao miongoni mwa tupu, na wazilinde tupu zao na yale Aliyoyaharamisha Mwenyezi Mungu, wala wasionyeshe waziwazi pambo lao kwa wanaume, bali wajipinde kulificha pambo lao isipokuwa nguo za juu ambazo imezoeleka kuzivaa, iwapo hakuna kwenye nguo hizo kivutio cha kupelekea kufitinika nao, na waviangushe vifiniko vya vichwa vyao kwenye uwazi wa sehemu za juu za nguo zao kwenye sehemu za vifua vyao huku wamezifinika nyuso zao ili sitara yao itimie. Na wasiuonyeshe urembo uliofichika isipokuwa kwa waume zao, kwani wao wanaona kutoka kwao wasiyoyaona wengine. Na sehemu ya urembo huo, kama uso, shingo, mikono miwili na sehemu za begani za mikono, zinafaa kuonekana na baba zao au baba za waume zao au watoto wao au watoto wa waume zao au ndugu zao au watoto wa ndugu zao wa kiume, au watoto wa dada zao au wanawake wenzao, walio Waislamu na sio makafiri, au watumwa waliowatawala au wafuasi kati wanaume ambao hawana malengo wala haja ya wanawake, kama vile mapite wanaowafuata watu kwa sababu ya kula au kunywa tu, au watoto wadogo ambao hawana ujuzi wowote wa mambo yanayohusiana na tupu za wanawake na ambao bado hawana matamanio. Na wasipige miguu yao, hao wanawake, wanapotembea ili kuwasikilizisha watu mapambo yao yaliyofichika, kama vikuku(vinavovawa miguuni kama pambo) na mfano wake. Na rudini, enyi Waumini, kwenye kumtii Mwenyezi Mungu katika yale Aliyowaamrisha kwayo kati ya sifa hizi nzuri na tabia njema, na yaacheni yale ambayo walikuwa nayo watu wa zama za ujinga ya tabia na sifa mbovu kwa matarajio mufaulu kuzipata kheri mbili: ya ulimwenguni na ya Akhera.

31. And tell the believing women to stop their eyes from looking at the private parts Allah has made unlawful for them to look at and to protect their private parts by staying far from indecency and by covering themselves. And they should not display their beauty to strangers except that which is apparent thereof and which cannot be hidden, such as clothing. They should draw their coverings over the openings at the top of their clothes, to cover their hair, faces and necks, and they should not expose their hidden beauty except to their husbands, or their fathers, or their husbands’ fathers, or their sons, or their husbands’ sons, or their brothers, or their brothers’ sons, or their sisters’ sons, or their women who are believers, be they Muslim or disbelievers, or the servants they own, be they male or female, or male attendants who have no desire for women, or children who have not become aware of the private aspects of women due to their being small. And women should not strike their feet with the intention of making known the adornment they are hiding, such as anklets and so forth. And all of you repent to Allah, O believers, for the gaze and so forth which affects you, in the hope that you are successful in attaining the goal and are saved from what is feared.
