Al-Baqarah · 2:70
قَالُوا ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُبَيِّنْ لَنَا مَا هِيَ إِنَّ الْبَقَرَ تَشَابَهَ عَلَيْنَا وَإِنَّا إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَمُهْتَدُونَ
Wana wa Isrāīl walimwambia Mūsā, “Tuombee Mola wako Atufafanulie sifa zake nyingine zisizokuwa zilizotangulia. Sababu ng’ombe wenye sifa hizi ni wengi. Kwa hivyo, tumechanganyikiwa hatujui tuchague yupi. Na sisi, Mwenyezi Mungu Anapotaka, tutaongokea kumjua ng’ombe ambaye ilitolewa amri achinjwe.”

70. They continued in their stubbornness, telling Moses to ask Allah to further clarify the nature of the cow. They said that there were many cows fitting the description, and they could not therefore identify it, insisting that they would then, if Allah willed, be guided to the right cow for sacrifice.
