Al-Baqarah · 2:27
الَّذِينَ يَنْقُضُونَ عَهْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مِيثَاقِهِ وَيَقْطَعُونَ مَا أَمَرَ اللَّهُ بِهِ أَنْ يُوصَلَ وَيُفْسِدُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ
Wale ambao wanavunja ahadi ya Mwenyezi Mungu Aliyoichukuwa kwao kuwa wampwekeshe Yeye na wamtii, hali ya kuwa Ameiitilia mkazo ahadi hiyo kwa kuleta Mitume na kuteremsha vitabu, na wanaenda kinyume na dini ya Mwenyzi Mungu, kama kukata zao na kueneza uharibifu katika ardhi. Basi wao ndio wenye hasara duniani na Akhera.

27.Those who break the promise they made with God to serve Him alone and follow His way. This is in the verse, “He made them testify concerning themselves: “Am I not your Lord?” They said, “Yes, we bear witness!” (7:172) He affirmed this by sending the prophets and the scriptures. Those who do not take their promises with God seriously are those who cut off from things which God instructed not to, such as blood relations and they work to spread corruption on earth through their wrongdoing. They are the losers in this world and the next.
