وَهِيَ تَجْرِي بِهِمْ فِي مَوْجٍ كَالْجِبَالِ وَنَادَىٰ نُوحٌ ابْنَهُ وَكَانَ فِي مَعْزِلٍ يَا بُنَيَّ ارْكَبْ مَعَنَا وَلَا تَكُنْ مَعَ الْكَافِرِينَ
Nayo ikawa inatembea na wao kwenye mawimbi yanayopaa na kwenda juu mpaka yakawa kama majabali kwa urefu wake wa kwenda juu. Hapo Nūḥ alimwita mtoto wakewa kiume, na ambaye alikuwa yupo mahali kando na amejiepusha na Waumini, akamwambia, «Ewe mwanangu, panda na sisi kwenye jahazi na usiwe pamoja na wenye kumkanusha Mwenyezi Mungu, utakujazama.»

42. The Ark sailed with the people and animals in it, through the great waves like mountains. Noah (peace be upon him) called to his son, who did not believe, and who was isolated from his father and his people in some place. Noah told him to believe, and to get onto the Ark with them so that he would be saved from the Flood; and he told him not to be with the disbelievers, or he would be drowned as they would be.
