۞ وَجَاوَزْنَا بِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ الْبَحْرَ فَأَتْبَعَهُمْ فِرْعَوْنُ وَجُنُودُهُ بَغْيًا وَعَدْوًا ۖ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا أَدْرَكَهُ الْغَرَقُ قَالَ آمَنْتُ أَنَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا الَّذِي آمَنَتْ بِهِ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ وَأَنَا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
Na tuliwakatia bahari Wana wa Isrāīl mpaka wakaivuka, wakafuatwa na Fir'awn na askari wake, kwa udhalimu na uadui, wakafuata njia ya bahari nyuma yao, mpaka Fir'awn alipozungukwa na hali ya kuzama alisema kwamba hapana Mola isipokuwa yule ambaye Wana wa Isrāī wamemuamini, na mimi ni miongoni mwa wenye kumpwekesha Mwenyezi Mungu wenye kujisalimisha Kwake kwa kufuata na kutii.

90. I made the Israelites safely cross the sea after I split it open. Pharaoh and his troops pursued them out of oppression and enmity. Then, when the sea closed on him, bringing them to the point of drowning and he lost all hope of being saved, he said, ‘I believe that there is no being worthy of worship besides the One Whom the Israelites have accepted, and I am one of those who submit to Allah by following Him’.
