وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ كَأَنْ لَمْ يَلْبَثُوا إِلَّا سَاعَةً مِنَ النَّهَارِ يَتَعَارَفُونَ بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ قَدْ خَسِرَ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِلِقَاءِ اللَّهِ وَمَا كَانُوا مُهْتَدِينَ
Na siku Mwenyezi Mungu Atawakusanya washirikina hawa, Siku ya kufufuliwa na kuhesabiwa, kama kwamba wao kabla ya hapo hawakukaa katika maisha ya duniani isipokuwa kadiri ya muda mchache wa kipindi cha mchana, watajuana wao kwa wao kama walivyokuwa duniani, kisha kujuana huko kutakatika na muda huo utapita. Hakika wamepata hasara wale waliokataa na kukanusha kuwa watakutana na Mwenyezi Mungu na kuwa Ana thwabu na Ana adhabu. Na hawakuwa ni wenye kuafikiwa kupata uongofu katika yale waliyoyafanya.

45. On the day that Allah gathers people on the Day of Judgement, to bring them to account, it will be as if they had lived on earth and then waited after death for the Day of Judgement for only an hour, and no more. They will recognise each other on that day, but then their acquaintances will be cut off from them because of the intensity of the terrors they witness on the Day of Judgement. The losers will be those who rejected the meeting with their Lord on the Day of Judgement and who did not believe in the day or resurrection so that they could safeguard themselves from loss.
