Al-An'am · 6:6
أَلَمْ يَرَوْا كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ مِنْ قَرْنٍ مَكَّنَّاهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَا لَمْ نُمَكِّنْ لَكُمْ وَأَرْسَلْنَا السَّمَاءَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِدْرَارًا وَجَعَلْنَا الْأَنْهَارَ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهِمْ فَأَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَأَنْشَأْنَا مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ قَرْنًا آخَرِينَ
A e vrejtën ata sa gjenerata para tyre i shkatërruam që Ne u patëm mundësuar atyre (komoditet) në tokë çfarë juve nuk ju mundësuam; u patëm lëshuar nga qielli shi me bollëk dhe u patëm bërë që të rrjedhin lumenj ndër ta, e për shkak të mëkateve të tyre i shkatërruam dhe pas tyre sollëm (breza) tjerë.

6. Do these disbelievers not know Allah’s custom of destroying communities who do wrong? Allah had destroyed, prior to them, many communities whom He had established in the earth with more stability than them. Allah sent down successive rains upon them and made rivers flow beneath their homes; yet they then went against Him, so He destroyed them because of the sins they committed. Then, after them, He established other communities.
