Al-An'am · 6:157
أَوْ تَقُولُوا لَوْ أَنَّا أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْنَا الْكِتَابُ لَكُنَّا أَهْدَىٰ مِنْهُمْ ۚ فَقَدْ جَاءَكُمْ بَيِّنَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ ۚ فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنْ كَذَّبَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَصَدَفَ عَنْهَا ۗ سَنَجْزِي الَّذِينَ يَصْدِفُونَ عَنْ آيَاتِنَا سُوءَ الْعَذَابِ بِمَا كَانُوا يَصْدِفُونَ
Dhe që të (mos) thoni: “Sikur të na kishte zbritur neve libri, (sikurse u zbriti atyre dy grupeve) ne do të ishim edhe në të udhëzuar se ata. Juve ju erdhi nga Zoti juaj argumenti (Kur’ani), ju erdhi udhëzimi, mëshira. E kush është më zullumqar se ai që argumentet eZOtit i bën të rreme dhe ua këthen shpinën atyre? Ne do t’i ndëshkojmë me ndëshkim më të rëndë ata që ua kthyen shpinën argumenteve Tona, për shkak të prapësimit që bënë.

157. Likewise, I sent this Book so that you do not say: If Allah had revealed a scripture to us, just as He did to the Jews and Christians, we would have been more upright than them. So now has Allah revealed the Book to your prophet, Muhammad (peace be upon him), in your language: a clear proof, guidance, and a mercy for the entire nation. Then do not offer false excuses and give invalid reasons for rejecting it. Surely the greatest wrongdoer is the person who denies Allah’s ayahs and turns away from them. Allah will punish those who turn away from His words with a severe punishment, by causing them to enter the fire of Hell as a repayment for their turning away from and ignoring them.
