وَلَقَدْ كُنْتُمْ تَمَنَّوْنَ الْمَوْتَ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ تَلْقَوْهُ فَقَدْ رَأَيْتُمُوهُ وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْظُرُونَ
Dhab ahaan waxaad u ahaydeen kuwa jecel Geerida ka hor la kulankeeda, waadna aragteen Geeridii idinkoo Fiirin. (143)
Tafsiir
Tafsiir kuma jiro luqaddaada. Kani waa Al-Mukhtasar oo Ingiriis ah.
143. O believers, you wished to meet the disbelievers so that you could gain martyrdom for the sake of Allah, like your brothers did on the day of Badr, before you saw the severity and ways of death. Now on the day of Uḥud you have seen what you wished for with your own eyes.
