Al-Ahqaf · 46:27
وَلَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَا مَا حَوْلَكُمْ مِنَ الْقُرَىٰ وَصَرَّفْنَا الْآيَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
Zniszczyliśmy te miasta, które były wokół was; skierowaliśmy do nich Nasze znaki - być może, oni zawrócą.

27. And I destroyed the cities around you, O people of Makkah; I destroyed Ad, Thamud, the people of Lot and the people of Madyan, and I gave them different proof and evidence, in the hope they will return from their disbelief.
