Al-Baqarah · 2:214
أَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ أَنْ تَدْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَأْتِكُمْ مَثَلُ الَّذِينَ خَلَوْا مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ ۖ مَسَّتْهُمُ الْبَأْسَاءُ وَالضَّرَّاءُ وَزُلْزِلُوا حَتَّىٰ يَقُولَ الرَّسُولُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَعَهُ مَتَىٰ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ ۗ أَلَا إِنَّ نَصْرَ اللَّهِ قَرِيبٌ
Czy wy sądzicie, że wejdziecie do Ogrodu, kiedy jeszcze nie doświadczyliście tego, czego doświadczyli ci, którzy już przeminęli przed wami? Dotknęło ich nieszczęście i udręka, doznali trzęsienia ziemi, tak iż mówił Posłaniec i ci, którzy uwierzyli wraz z nim: "Kiedy przyjdzie pomoc Boga?" Czyż nie tak?! Zaprawdę, pomoc Boga jest bliska!

214. Do you believers think that you will enter Paradise whilst you have not faced a trial like the people of the past? They were afflicted with severe sickness and poverty and were shaken by frightening events to the extent that they wanted the help of Allah to come as quick as possible; and the messenger and the believers with him began saying, ‘When is the help of Allah coming?’ The help of Allah is close to those that have faith and trust in Him.
