Al-An'am · 6:54
وَإِذَا جَاءَكَ الَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِآيَاتِنَا فَقُلْ سَلَامٌ عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ كَتَبَ رَبُّكُمْ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ الرَّحْمَةَ ۖ أَنَّهُ مَنْ عَمِلَ مِنْكُمْ سُوءًا بِجَهَالَةٍ ثُمَّ تَابَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ وَأَصْلَحَ فَأَنَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
Yeroo warri keeyyattoota keenyatti amanan sitti dhufan "Nageenyi isin irra haa jiraatuGooftaan keessan lubbuu Isaa irratti rahmata barreesseera: ‘namni isin irraa wallaalumaan hamtuu hojjatee ergasii isa booda gara Rabbii deebi’ee toltuu hojjate, dhugumatti Inni (isaaf) araaramaa, (isaaf) rahmata godhaa dha" (jedhi).

54. When those who accept My signs that indicate the truth of what you have brought come to you, O Messenger, then reply to their greeting of peace in honour of them and tell them the good news of My mercy. I have gracefully made mercy obligatory on Myself. If anyone among you commits sin, out of ignorance and foolishness, and then repents from that sin and sets their actions right, then I will forgive them, for I am Forgiving and Compassionate to the servant who repents to Me.
