۞ قَالَتْ رُسُلُهُمْ أَفِي اللَّهِ شَكٌّ فَاطِرِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ يَدْعُوكُمْ لِيَغْفِرَ لَكُمْ مِنْ ذُنُوبِكُمْ وَيُؤَخِّرَكُمْ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى ۚ قَالُوا إِنْ أَنْتُمْ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِثْلُنَا تُرِيدُونَ أَنْ تَصُدُّونَا عَمَّا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ آبَاؤُنَا فَأْتُونَا بِسُلْطَانٍ مُبِينٍ
Ergamoonni isaaniis ni jedhan: “Sila Rabbii uumaa samiifi dachii ta’e, kan badii keessan irraa isiniif araaramuufi hanga yeroo murtaa’ee isin tursiisuuf isin waamu (jiraachuu isaa) keessa shakkiin jiraa?” [Isaan] “Isin namuma akka keenyaa kan waan abbootiin keenya gabbaraa turan irraa nu dhorguu barbaadu malee homaa hin taane; mee ragaa ifa ta’een nutti kottaa” jedhan.

10. Their messengers said in response to them: Can there be any doubt about Allah’s Oneness and about worshipping Him alone, when He is the Creator of the heavens and the earth, who brought them into existence without any precedent?! He calls you to have faith in Him so that He can wipe out your previous sins and defer you until such time that you can complete your fixed period of life in this world. Their people said to them: You are only human like us. You have no merit over us. You want to turn us away from what our forefathers used to worship. Bring us clear proof indicating the truthfulness of your claim that you are messengers from Allah to us.
