إِذْ قَالُوا لَيُوسُفُ وَأَخُوهُ أَحَبُّ إِلَىٰ أَبِينَا مِنَّا وَنَحْنُ عُصْبَةٌ إِنَّ أَبَانَا لَفِي ضَلَالٍ مُبِينٍ
ߊ߬ ߞߐ߬ߘߐ ߟߎ߫ ߞߵߊ߬ ߝߐ߫ ߡߍ߲ߞߍ߭ ߞߏ߫ ߦߛߎߝߎ߫ ߣߴߊ߬ ߓߊߘߋ߲ߡߊߘߐ߮ ߟߋ߬ ߘߌߡߴߊ߲ ߝߊ߬ ߦߋ߫ ߊ߲ߠߎ߬ ߘߌ߫، ߒ߬ߠߎ߫ ߟߋ߫ ߘߏ߲߬ ߜߎ ߞߊ߫ ߛߌߦߊ߫، ߊ߲ ߝߊ߬ ߦߋ߫ ߝߟߌ߬ߓߊ߫ ߟߋ߬ ߘߐ߫ ߏ߬ ߘߌ߫ ߘߋ߬

ߕߊߝߛߌߙ ߕߍ߫ ߌ ߞߊ߲ ߘߐ߫. ߣߌ߲߬ ߞߊ߬ߣߌ߲߬ Al-Mukhtasar ߞߊ߲ߞߊ߲߫ ߘߐ߫.
8. At that time, the brothers said among themselves: Joseph and his full brother are more beloved to our father than we are, whereas we are a group large in number. Why does he prefer them to us? We think that our father is mistaken in preferring them to us without any apparent reason.
