An-Nahl · 16:93
وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَجَعَلَكُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَلَٰكِنْ يُضِلُّ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۚ وَلَتُسْأَلُنَّ عَمَّا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
Om Gud hadde villet, kunne Han gjort dere til ett eneste (tros)samfunn. Men Han lar dem seile sin egen sjø som Han vil, og gir dem ledelse som Han vil. Og Han trekker dere til regnskap for det dere har gjort.

93. Had Allah willed, He would have made you one nation in agreement on the truth, but He, may He be glorified, misguides whom He wills from the truth and from fulfilling their oaths by His justice, and He guides whom He wills to do so by His grace. You will surely be questioned on the Day of Judgement about what you used to do in the world.
