Soera 7 · Djoez 9
Al-A'raf · 7:144
قَالَ يَا مُوسَىٰ إِنِّي اصْطَفَيْتُكَ عَلَى النَّاسِ بِرِسَالَاتِي وَبِكَلَامِي فَخُذْ مَا آتَيْتُكَ وَكُنْ مِنَ الشَّاكِرِينَ
God zeide tot hem: o Mozes! Ik heb u boven alle menschen uitverkoren, door u met mijne opdrachten te vereeren, en door met u te spreken; ontvang dus wat ik u heb gebracht, en wees een van hen die dankbaar zijn.

144. Allah told Moses: 'O Moses, I have chosen you and preferred you over other people through the message which I have sent you with, and by My speaking to you directly. Take then the great honour which I have given you, and be among those who are thankful to Allah for such a great gift.'
