Soera 34 · Djoez 22

قُلْ إِنْ ضَلَلْتُ فَإِنَّمَا أَضِلُّ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِي ۖ وَإِنِ اهْتَدَيْتُ فَبِمَا يُوحِي إِلَيَّ رَبِّي ۚ إِنَّهُ سَمِيعٌ قَرِيبٌ
Zeg: indien ik dwaal, waarlijk, dan zal ik slechts tegen mijne eigene ziel dwalen, maar indien ik richtig geleid word, zal het door datgene wezen, wat mijn Heer mij heeft geopenbaard; want hij is gereed te verhooren en nabij hen die hem aanbidden.

50. O Messenger! Say to these idolaters who reject: “If I go astray from the truth in what I convey to you, the harm of my misguidance is confined to me. None of it will affect you. And if I am guided to Him, it is due to what my Lord reveals to me. He is Hearing of the sayings of His servants and Near, it not being difficult for Him to hear what I say”.
