Soera 2 · Djoez 1
Al-Baqarah · 2:55
وَإِذْ قُلْتُمْ يَا مُوسَىٰ لَنْ نُؤْمِنَ لَكَ حَتَّىٰ نَرَى اللَّهَ جَهْرَةً فَأَخَذَتْكُمُ الصَّاعِقَةُ وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْظُرُونَ
En toen gij tot Mozes zeidet: O Mozes, wij willen u niet eerder gelooven, dan na dat wij God met eigen oogen hebben gezien, toen kwam er straf over u, terwijl gij er naar zaagt.

55. Also, remember when you shamelessly addressed Moses (peace be upon him), saying that you would not believe him until you saw Allah with your own eyes, in the open before you, and the lightning struck you and killed you, whilst some of you looked at the others.
