Al-Isra · 17:28
وَإِمَّا تُعْرِضَنَّ عَنْهُمُ ابْتِغَاءَ رَحْمَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّكَ تَرْجُوهَا فَقُلْ لَهُمْ قَوْلًا مَيْسُورًا
Maar indien gij u verwijdert van hen, die in nood verkeeren, zonder hen te helpen, in afwachting der genade welke gij van uwen Heer hoopt, spreek dan ten minste met zachtheid tot hen.

28. But if you refrain from giving these people, due to not having anything to give them, while waiting for Allah to bless you with provision, then say to them gentle and polite words such as praying for them to have abundant provision or promising to give them if Allah grants you wealth.
