Surah 33 · Juz 22
Al-Ahzab · 33:52
لَا يَحِلُّ لَكَ النِّسَاءُ مِنْ بَعْدُ وَلَا أَنْ تَبَدَّلَ بِهِنَّ مِنْ أَزْوَاجٍ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَكَ حُسْنُهُنَّ إِلَّا مَا مَلَكَتْ يَمِينُكَ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ رَقِيبًا
Tidak halal bagimu berkahwin dengan perempuan-perempuan yang lain sesudah (isteri-isterimu yang ada) itu, dan engkau juga tidak boleh menggantikan mereka dengan isteri-isteri yang baharu sekalipun engkau tertarik hati kepada kecantikan mereka, kecuali hamba-hamba perempuan yang engkau miliki. Dan (ingatlah) Allah sentiasa Mengawasi tiap-tiap sesuatu.

52. O Messenger! It is not permissible for you to marry women other than your wives who are already in your protection, neither is it permissible for you to divorce them, or divorce any one of them so that you may marry another woman, even if her beauty appeals to you. However, it is permissible for you to take captive women into your possession. And Allah is a guardian over everything. This ruling proves the virtue of the mothers of the believers, because the Prophet peace be upon him was prohibited from divorcing them and marrying others whilst he was married to them.
