Sura 23 · Juz 18
Al-Mu'minun · 23:24
فَقَالَ الْمَلَأُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ قَوْمِهِ مَا هَٰذَا إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِثْلُكُمْ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَتَفَضَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَأَنْزَلَ مَلَائِكَةً مَا سَمِعْنَا بِهَٰذَا فِي آبَائِنَا الْأَوَّلِينَ
Na pitharo o manga nakoda ko siran a miyamangongkir ko pagtaw niyan a: "Kna ini a ba di manosiya a lagid iyo; a khabayaan iyan a kaombawan kano niyan: Na o kabaya o Allah na mataan a tomoron sa malaikat: Da tano man´g angkai ko manga loks tano a miyangaoona."

24. So the noblemen and leaders from his people who disbelieved in Allah said to their followers and the masses, “This man that claims to be a messenger is only a human like yourselves; he only desires leadership and rule over you. If Allah wished to send a messenger to you He would have done so by sending one from the angels, not from the humans. We have not heard anything like what he is claiming from our predecessors!”
